Heat transfer
Heat transfer applies the design to textiles with a heat press and heat-fusible adhesives. It's the most flexible method for small runs, names and numbers, or photographic images — exactly where screen printing stops being economical. We produce the transfer three ways, all in-house.
How it works
- 01Cut flex/flock film on the cutting plotter
- 02Or digitally print the film (CMYK / photo)
- 03Or a screen-printed transfer for spot-color runs
- 04Heat-press onto the textile (~150–180°C)
Good to know
Heat transfer is the most flexible textile method: it has no minimum quantity, so it works just as well for a single piece or a full batch. We make the transfer three ways — flex/flock film cut on a plotter for simple logos and names/numbers, digitally printed film for full-color or photographic images, and screen-printed transfers for spot-color runs.
Application is done with a heat press, at around 150–180°C, for 10–20 seconds depending on the film. It's ideal for personalized sportswear, small runs and series where every piece is different. Durability depends on the film and correct pressing; for maximum life, wash inside-out at low temperature.
Advantages
- No minimum quantity
- Handles photographic images
- Individual, per-piece personalization
- Fast turnaround
