Print DTG
DTG (direct-to-garment) printing prints straight into the fabric with an inkjet printer — just like a photo printer, but on cotton. We use DuPont ink, similar to screen-printing ink, so print durability is very good. Ideal for full-color, photographic designs in small runs or even single pieces.
How it works
- 01Pre-treat the garment (especially on dark colors)
- 02Print directly with inkjet (CMYK + white)
- 03Cure the ink with a heat press
- 04The first wash removes pre-treatment residue
Good to know
DTG printing is like a photo printer for textiles: ink goes straight into the fabric with an inkjet head, with no screens and no per-color setup cost. It's the ideal solution for full-color or photographic designs, for small runs and even for a single piece. We use DuPont ink, similar to screen-printing ink, so print durability is very good.
White toner lets us print on colored garments too, not just white. Because it works in CMYK, Pantone colors are approximate rather than exact. The ideal fabric is high-cotton, and pre-treatment (especially on dark colors) provides a vivid white under the print. The first wash removes the pre-treatment residue.
Advantages
- No screens, no per-color setup cost
- Photographic detail
- Soft hand-feel — ink soaks into the fabric
- White toner prints on colored fabric
